Concept
Casa de Babel is located in the north of Spain, in the central part of Asturias, where the mountains meet the sea, and welcomes you for language stays in total immersion and à la carte.
Courses and activities are supervised by a native teacher with more than 25 years of experience and a professional caterer. You will be accommodated in an architect-designed house with a view of the valley and the sea.

Learning differently
Tailor-made fun courses
We will evaluate your level of Spanish at the beginning and end of your stay according to the CEFR criteria. The objective is to move you up one level. You will take group & individual classes, based on your needs. You will participate in activities: cooking in Spanish, getting in touch with the Spanish people, discovering the local fauna & flora through hikes in the mountains or by the sea, going to museums or visiting local markets… all in Spanish!
The school house

Casa de Babel will be your home school. A large and beautiful architect-designed house with all the necessary facilities for you to have the best stay. Our goal is to provide you with all the advantages of a small structure with a maximum of 5 students, with a personal approach. Whether you are with your family, friends or alone, we can adapt to your plans and needs.
Your hosts
2 experts, each in their own field
Asun was born and raised in Spain. She was a Spanish teacher in France for 25 years where she taught in the prestigious bi-national Bachibac program. She will be your teacher during your stay. Georges-Pierre, a former restaurant professional, is a real Swiss Army knife. He will also be your “animator” for the activities and all the logistics of the stay. The complementarity of these two profiles will allow you to spend a stay in the best conditions!
